THE FOG

Streamers of wet whispy curled fingers and
wraith-like tails of fog, curling pools round
Soldier still lamp posts, and pouring a misty
Milky soup, swallowing, swings, slides and
humans .

eating away light with its lazy toungue
Ghostly grey strands of gauze drifting
Cocooning, slithering shapes, a mystery
of threads of swirling fingers and darkness
choking cataracting light.

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem effectively captures the eerie and mysterious atmosphere of fog through vivid imagery and sensory details. The use of personification, such as describing the fog as having "lazy tongue" and "ghostly grey strands of gauze drifting," adds depth to the description. The repetition of words like "curling," "swirling," and "choking" creates a sense of movement and intensity within the poem. Consider refining the structure and flow of the poem to enhance the overall impact and coherence of the imagery presented. Additionally, exploring different poetic devices such as metaphors or similes could further enrich the descriptive elements of the fog.
