When We Walk
When We Walk
When we walk towards a setting sun,
We call it the distant horizon,
As we move closer and closer,
The farther away it does run.
That’s all about a horizon,
We all chase a setting sun,
In the hope twill stay for some
The elusive horizon
Mark my words,
The sun never sets,
It’s always raising somewhere
You all chase just a mirage
Then say
Upon the sands of time
Your footprints will be left behind,
Tis all an illusion, of a distraught mind,
The horizon isn’t mine or thine.
Tis a distant imagination,
Comfort within your own heart
Do try to find
The distant horizon belongs to none.
